It's true---Busy Liz's really does have the best pumpkins! The kids had trouble deciding because they were all great-looking, but at last they were able to choose the "perfect pumpkin" for us, a big glowing orange one with a nice long stem.

We also picked up some Northern Spy apples and they went into the best apple pie I've made in a long time. Thanks, Liz!

Thanks for the comments Karen and Lorna: you have given me the neccessary encouragement to continue. Keep checking the website, for details of future cooking classes - the next one is scheduled for end of July.

Had a great time with a group of foodies at Buzy Liz's first (and hopefully many more)cooking class. Liz was able to show how simple cooking really is and with such finesse. I think 6 would be the top number of people for each class. Thanks again!

I attended Liz's first cooking class last week and I think Liz's cooking skills are wonderful and her tips are so ingenious. I would like to share this with all my friends. As well, Liz, you have the ability to cook and explain, and talk while you are preparing - without getting mixed up. Great skill to have!

Thanks for the comments Adriana, I am glad that you enjoyed the evening, I certainly did. I'm pleased that you think I made it look easy, as it felt a bit like trying to juggle with 6 eggs at times!

I very much enjoyed the "experimental evening". The recipes where delicious and simple (or did you just make them look like that?), made with ingredients that you usually have at home. You definitively have the skills to teach! I would say 6 is a good number of students.

Yes Kathrine, fudge is still very much available. We always have a selection of different kinds, although Busy Liz's "Just Plain Fudge" seems to be the favourite. Watch for Busy Liz's "Special Pumpkin Fudge" in October!

Will you be making your fudge again this year? I make the trip especially to buy it!
